It looks like a crack in rock that decided to stay. One seam of grey, brown, black and gold cuts diagonally across the canvas, and I left most of the surface white on purpose. The empty space isn't empty to me. It's what gives the piece room to breathe.

This one I built with sand instead of limestone. It changes the grip completely, coarser and rougher in places, the kind of surface you'll catch yourself running a thumb over. The gold sits in the ridges, where the light finds it and lets go again as you move past.

Small footprint, but it takes a whole wall. Quiet, minimal, and it doesn't budge. Bedrock never does.

100 × 70 × 2.5 cm (39.4 × 27.6 × 1 in), landscape. Mixed media on canvas: Austrian artist-grade paints (vegan), structure paste, sand and gold pigment, layered over weeks. Archival quality. Black floater frame (shadow-gap), ready to hang. Signed and varnished. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity; the canvas is also signed and labelled on the back.

Free worldwide shipping, fully insured. Each painting is packed by hand, and because I work between the studio and travel, it can take up to 8 weeks before a piece ships. I'll write to you personally when yours is on its way. Outside the EU, any customs duties or import fees are the buyer's responsibility.
