From bakery to studio.
Before becoming an artist, I ran Austria's first low-carb café for over ten years. I always loved what a spatula does in your hand when you build texture in cake frosting, layer by layer.
And at some point, I needed a bigger surface. A wedding cake can only be so tall, right? So I switched to large canvases. When I started painting, I picked up the same spatula (never used the same one on cakes again, no worries).
Every painting you see here still has those years of hand work behind it. Probably the reason I trust my hands more than my plans.
